Borno state remains the worst hit by the Boko Haram terrorist group and Governor Kashim Shettima is having sleepless nights – He reveals the effect of the attacks on communities, schools and other facilities in the state as well as his redevelopment plans.The sect members, apart from destroying communities, have killed, maimed and even abducted thousands of residents and Shettima says their activities have set his state backward by 50 years. According to him, the most affected sector of the state is education. Many schools have been destroyed while pupils and students stopped attending classes for fear of being attacked.
